Performers please read this document and provide us with the materials we require as soon as your show is confirmed. Thanks!
LOAD IN AND SOUNDCHECK:
Load in is from 5:30pm. There is free on street parking at the front and rear or the venue from 5:30pm. Sound engineer will arrive at 6pm unless you have made other arrangements in advance. Please read the venue specifications above in advance of your performance and bring with you any equiptment that is not included in the list. The loan of equiptment is possible with advance warning so please get in touch and hopefully we can sort you out.
The Hyde Tavern dates back to the 1500’s so the ceilings are therefore typically low. Upright bass players play in the cellar regularly and we love the instrument, but players please be aware that you will need to be gracious and cooperate with the surroundings and not blame the engineer please! Likewise very tall performers may prefer to sit. We’re sorry for the inconvenience but it must be embraced as part of the charm of the space since it is such a special building. Some of the doorways are also low so PLEASE MIND YOUR HEADS coming in and out of the venue.
